A leading voluntary health organization dedicated to Alzheimerâ€™s care, support and research, the Alzheimerâ€™s Association strives to improve quality of life for those facing Alzheimerâ€™s disease and other dementias. Cancer Council Australia was originally known as the Australian Cancer Society when, in 1961, the six state Cancer Councils, formed a federal body to promote cancer control at a national level.
